How to Manage Recurring Tasks

Recurring tasks automatically create task copies on a schedule — perfect for routine work that needs to be done regularly.

Creating a Recurring Task

Navigate to Recurring Tasks in the sidebar and click "New Recurring Task".

  • Title — The task name (new tasks will use this title).
  • Description — What needs to be done each time.
  • Frequency — How often (daily, weekly, monthly).
  • Assigned To — Team member to assign each occurrence to.
  • Priority — Default priority for generated tasks.
  • Client/Project (optional) — Association for each generated task.

How It Works

At each interval, a new task is automatically created with the specified details. The task appears in the Tasks list and on the calendar.

Managing Recurring Tasks

  • Edit — Update the template for future occurrences.
  • Pause/Resume — Temporarily stop generating new tasks.
  • Delete — Remove the schedule (existing tasks remain).

Great for routine work like weekly client check-ins, monthly reports, or daily stand-up reminders.
