How to Manage Invoices

The Invoices page is your financial command center. Track all invoices, manage payments, generate PDFs, and monitor your revenue at a glance.

Viewing Invoices

Navigate to Invoices in the sidebar. The page shows financial stats (total revenue, outstanding, overdue) and a searchable list of all invoices.

Searching and Filtering

Use the search bar to find invoices by number, client name, or amount. Filter by status (Draft, Sent, Paid, Overdue, Cancelled) to focus on specific categories.

Invoice Statuses

  • Draft — Created but not yet sent.
  • Sent — Shared with the client via the portal.
  • Paid — Payment received in full.
  • Partially Paid — Some payment received.
  • Overdue — Past the due date without full payment.
  • Cancelled — Voided invoice.

Quick Actions

From the invoice list or detail page, you can:

  • Edit — Update line items, dates, or notes.
  • Duplicate — Create a copy for recurring or similar billing.
  • Download PDF — Generate a professional PDF.
  • Send — Share the invoice with the client.
  • Delete — Remove the invoice (soft delete).

Bulk Actions

Select multiple invoices using checkboxes and use the bulk toolbar to delete them at once.

💡 Tip:

For clients you bill regularly, consider setting up recurring invoices to generate invoices automatically on a schedule.
