How to Send an Invoice

Sending an invoice makes it available to your client through the Client Portal and updates its status to "Sent".

Step 1: Open the Invoice

Navigate to Invoices and click on the invoice you want to send.

Step 2: Click "Send" or "Share via Portal"

On the invoice detail page, click the "Send" button. This shares the invoice through the client's portal link.

What Happens

  • The invoice status changes to "Sent".
  • The client can view the full invoice in their portal.
  • The client can mark it as paid from their portal.
⚠️ Important:

Make sure the client has portal access before sending. You can send them a portal link if they don't have one yet.
