How to Use Transactions
The Transactions page brings payments, expenses, and credit notes into one timeline. It gives you a quick way to review money moving in and out of your workspace.
Opening Transactions
Open Transactions from the navigation menu. Each row shows the date, transaction type, reference, amount, and status.
Finding a Transaction
- Type: Show payments received, immediately paid expenses, expense payments, issued credit notes, or customer refunds.
- Date range: Choose a start and end date for the period you want to review.
- Search: Find a transaction by reference, client or vendor name, or description.
- Results per page: Change how many transactions appear at once.
Opening the Source Record
Select a reference to open its source record. Incoming payments are positive; outgoing amounts are negative. Unpaid bills appear only when payments are recorded, and the original expense is not counted again. Deleted expense payments no longer appear in this feed.
Tip:
Use the type and date filters together when you need to review one part of your finances for a specific period.
