How to Manage Leads
The Leads section helps you track your complete sales pipeline — from initial contact to conversion or closure. retaincoda offers both a list view and a visual Kanban board to manage leads.
List View
The default leads page (/leads) shows all your leads in a searchable, filterable list with stats at the top showing totals by status and estimated pipeline value.
Kanban Board
Switch to Kanban view to see your leads organized in columns by status. Drag and drop leads between columns to update their status visually. This is ideal for managing your sales pipeline at a glance.
Searching and Filtering
Use the search bar to find leads by name, email, or company. Filter by status to focus on specific pipeline stages.
Editing a Lead
Click on any lead to view its details, then click "Edit" to update the information. You can change the status, value, source, contact details, and any custom fields.
Lead Scoring
retaincoda can automatically score leads based on configurable criteria. Visit Leads → Scoring to set up scoring rules that help you prioritize the most promising opportunities. Click "Recalculate Scores" to refresh all lead scores.
Duplicate Detection
Click "Find Duplicates" on the leads page to identify potentially duplicate leads. You can merge duplicates to keep your data clean.
Converting Leads
When a lead is ready to move forward, you can convert it:
- Convert to Client — Create a client record from the lead's information.
- Convert to Project — Create both a client and a project in one step.
Use bulk actions to delete or update multiple leads at once. Select leads with checkboxes and use the bulk toolbar that appears.
