How to Manage Proposals

The Proposals page gives you full control over all your proposals — from drafts waiting to be sent to accepted proposals ready for invoicing.

Viewing Proposals

Navigate to Proposals in the sidebar. The page shows summary stats (total, draft, sent, accepted, declined) and a list of all proposals with their client, amount, status, and dates.

Proposal Statuses

  • Draft — Not yet sent to the client. Still editable.
  • Sent — Shared with the client via the portal.
  • Accepted — Client approved the proposal.
  • Declined — Client rejected the proposal.
  • Expired — Past the valid-until date without a response.

Editing a Proposal

Click on a proposal to view it, then click "Edit". You can modify line items, dates, notes, and other details. Only draft proposals should typically be edited — editing a sent proposal may confuse the client.

Duplicating a Proposal

Click "Duplicate" to create a copy of any proposal. This is useful when creating similar proposals for different clients or projects.

Bulk Actions

Select multiple proposals with checkboxes and use the bulk toolbar to delete them in one action.

💡 Tip:

Once a proposal is accepted, you can convert it to an invoice with a single click — all line items transfer automatically.
