How to Reset Your Password
If you've forgotten your password or can't log in, you can easily reset it using your registered email address. retaincoda will send you a temporary code to set a new password.
Step 1: Go to the Forgot Password Page
On the login page, click the "Forgot Password?" link below the password field. This takes you to the password recovery form.
Step 2: Enter Your Email Address
Type the email address associated with your retaincoda account and click "Send Reset Code". If the email exists in our system, a password reset code will be sent to your inbox.
Step 3: Check Your Email
Open your inbox and look for an email from retaincoda with the subject "Password Reset". The email contains a 6-digit code that you'll need for the next step.
Step 4: Enter the Reset Code and New Password
On the reset screen, enter:
- Reset Code — The 6-digit code from the email.
- New Password — Your new password (minimum 8 characters).
- Confirm Password — Re-enter the new password to confirm.
Click "Reset Password" to save your new password.
Step 5: Log In with Your New Password
After successfully resetting your password, you'll be redirected to the login page. Use your email and the newly created password to log in.
Reset codes expire after a short time for security. If your code has expired, simply request a new one by repeating Step 1.
If you suspect someone else has accessed your account, reset your password immediately and review your active sessions from Profile → Sessions. Revoke any sessions you don't recognize.
