How to Setup Billing Information

Your billing information appears on invoices, proposals, and other client-facing documents. Setting it up correctly ensures your documents look professional and include all required details.

Accessing Billing Settings

Go to Workspace → Settings → Billing from the sidebar navigation.

Business Information Fields

Fill in the following details:

  • Business Name — Your company or freelance business name as it should appear on invoices.
  • Business Address — Street, city, postal code, and country.
  • Tax ID / VAT Number — Your tax identification number (if applicable).
  • Phone Number — Business contact number.
  • Email — Business email shown on invoices (can differ from your login email).
  • Website — Your business website URL (optional).
  • Logo — Upload your business logo to appear on invoices, proposals, and PDFs.

Currency Settings

Set the default currency for your workspace. This currency will be pre-selected when creating new invoices and proposals. You can always override it on individual documents.

Invoice Numbering

Configure how invoice numbers are generated:

  • Prefix — A text prefix for invoice numbers (e.g. "INV-", "2026-").
  • Next Number — The next sequential number to be used.

Payment Information

Add your payment details so clients know how to pay:

  • Bank Name
  • Account Holder
  • IBAN / Account Number
  • BIC / SWIFT Code
  • Payment Terms / Notes — Any additional payment instructions shown on invoices.

Complete your billing setup before creating your first invoice. All the information you enter here automatically populates on every new invoice and proposal, saving you time.
