How to Manage Notifications

retaincoda sends notifications to keep you informed about important events in your workspace — such as new invoices, project updates, or task assignments. You can customize which notifications you receive.

Accessing Notification Settings

Go to Profile → Notifications from your profile page.

Notification Types

You can enable or disable notifications for various event categories:

  • Client Events — New clients added, client updates.
  • Project Events — Project creation, status changes, updates.
  • Invoice Events — Invoice sent, paid, overdue.
  • Proposal Events — Proposal sent, accepted, declined.
  • Task Events — Task assigned, completed, overdue.
  • Contract Events — Contract shared, acknowledged.
  • Lead Events — Lead created, converted.
  • Approval Events — Approval requested, approved, rejected.

In-App vs. Email Notifications

In-app notifications appear in the bell icon at the top of the page. You'll see a red badge showing the count of unread notifications. Click the bell to view and manage them.

Email notifications are sent to your registered email address for important events, depending on your settings.

Workspace-Level Notification Settings

Workspace admins can also configure global notification settings from Workspace → Settings. These settings can:

  • Disable all notifications for the entire workspace.
  • Restrict notifications to only "create" actions.
  • Allow all notification types.

Your personal preferences work within the boundaries set by the workspace admin.

💡 Tip:

To manage your notification inbox, visit the Notifications Center where you can mark notifications as read, delete individual ones, or clear all.
